02.27.07 DUBAI-- Serena Williams withdrew last week from the WTA Tour tennis tournament in Duabi citing the flu. Serena seems to be maybe feeling a little better however as she was spotted over the weekend at an Oscar party in Hollywood, California, USA. Williams in next scheduled to play in Miami the week of March 19th.

02.10.07 BANGALORE-- Serena Williams has withdrawn from next week's WTA Tour tournament in Bangalore, India citing sickness. "Williams was running a high fever and flu making it impossible for her to travel and compete this week," the tournament said in a statement on Saturday. In other news Serena joins her sister Venus Williams for the US Fed Cup team in April versus Belgium. This would be Williams' first time playing Fed Cup since 2003. Serena Williams has never lost a match in Fed Cup.
